470RWHP is around 550-575FWHP, so you were not too far off of the 625hp mark. Like I said, 625 is definitely a high number for that combo, but I would not be surprised if he was close to that, like within 75hp or so.

625hp sounds a little high for that intake/tb, but I don't think it's too far off. Here's my friends combo making 657RWHP.

AFR 185 heads.
Ported lower SysteMaxII lower w/ Vortech/Saleen upper
1.6 scorpion rockers
S-trim (2.75 upper, 6.87 lower) 14#
1 3/4 BBK longtubes, 2.5" Dr.Gas X pipe, and 3 chamber delta flow flowmasters
SMC 'Superpump' methanol injection (straight methanol, no water mix)
PMS tuned.
Who built your friends bottom end? I'm looking to get around that number but my block is a hinderance to me.

Matt, are you sure the bottom end was only a "built 302" and not possibly a built 331 or 347? It seems odd that he would build a 302... most people freshen them up when building them to 306's, then throw in the stroker crank and you could possible see those numbers at the flywheel.

well i doubt it had a stock block, its possible, but i would think that that would be one of the things i would tell someone if they were asking about my car...heads, intake, cam, block, and any power adder...he never mentioned it, although i forgot to ask...

Hell, I'm still wondering about the Trickflow trackheat numbers 360/350 (I think I remember this) one stands for torque and one for HP . I would love to break into the 12's with my combo but would be happy with low 13's but I'm lost on what it will actually run. I do have plans on running it soon.

At this rate alls he'd need is a T-trim to go 9s and a YS to go 8s
