After destroying # 6 piston in my B50 block 331 T-Trim

At one point I ws going to part my car out, but the madness continues.

I ordered a Dart 364, will be taking the Vic jr's on a stg II porting expedition, new cam, new valvetrain, and so on. 3-4 weeks out on the motor.

Also ordered a PARacing K-member kit for the front. Its a bitch pulling motors in and out with a stock one on big LT's. It will be here Thur. Jason seems like a standup guy.

Going to keep the T-Trim for now....I have a big fat turbo eyed for the future.

Tmoss.............his ported lower is still allowing my combos to grow.

That was an all-out, max effort "finesse" intake - not ONE weld on it. Good luck, Matt!

Did it mess up the B50 block? How well was it holding up to your power? How is the car used?

Reason I ask is I'm eyeballing the B50 or Mexican block for a 450-500 RWHP Nitrous 347 buildup...

Thanks.

BTW Tmoss my lower may be coming back to you in the near future, I'm gonna be going 185's with the new motor (broke a rod in the old 306) and the GT-40 match job won't be quite enough I don't think...

The motor seemed to be holding fine. I will be disassembling the shortblock soon. I want to see condition of the skirts and ring lands before I say more.

Car is mostly street oriented but has the driveline for the track also.

What sort of numbers were you getting with that T trim? N/m. What new numbers are you looking for??
I'm also getting ready to piece together a Dart 364 to go along with my new turbo set up. looking for 4 digit numbers with pump gas. Ed Curtis says it can be done so we'll see soon enough.
