My sunroof leaking. Went to go buy the weather stripping replacements from late model resto. I figured Id look to make sure my sunroof is oem.. Well I have no clue if it is so I took some pictures. It was installed clean if its aftermarket. The weather stripping doesnt seal .

I cant tell! this is the first foxbody Ive ever had and Ive only seen a few other than mine and most of them didnt have sunroofs.

idk if they changed the sunroofs over the years but that doesn't look like the one in my 87.

Looks like a "safelite" sunroof.

Ya i just searched universal sunroofs. Search for a bit and its a sfc universal sunroof... Who ever installed it did it right.

That does not appear to be a factory roof. The factory sun roofs do not have such a large rubber surround on the on the headliner or the roof.

Also the front hinges are quite a bit off from a factory Ford roof. The original sun roofs just had two metal clips that slid into to the body of the car.

Probably not the news you wanted but hope it helps you fix your issue.

Well I found out who makes it. It is a SFC newport style sunroof model 2032. I started taking it apart and it was installed correctly and sealed correctly. Its just very annoying because since mine didnt come with a sunroof from the factory it doesnt have the roof support beam so its a little flimzy.
