I can't get my parking brake off HELP!

trying to replace my rear calipers and everything is ready to come off and is off except the rear parking brake cable...

i got it unhooked and the c clip is off but its stuck in there good.. its been pb blasted.. anyone got any ideas?

spray it with wd 40 and let it sit over night,then put a propane torch just to one side of the metal where it connects and heat for about 4 minutes...then lock on some vice grips and yank that mf out...i can not be held liable if you end up torching your car,do it at your own risk,and remember to always use jack stands..being crushed to death screamming for help is an ugly way to go

Morbid!


I used a pair of vice grips, clamped them on, and worked and wiggled it while spraying with pb blaster every couple of minutes... worked after a little while of repetition...
