I was looking for some new bulbs and not sure which to get. I want to try to get some for the heads, brights and fogs that would make everything brighter. My cougar's dims are brighter than the stangs brights. Hell, my cougar's fogs were almost as bright as the stangs dims

I was reading about Silverstars. Can I get em from wal-mart? I saw a few kinds but didn't know anything about them.

HIDs.

I don't think any aftermarket bulb really is much brighter than the stock ones. I do like my Silverstars because they're whiter, but I didn't htink they were really brighter.

HID kits from what I've seen are at least $1,000. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

I've got the silverstars headlights and I just put in clear fog housings yesterday w/ eurolite 893 "Xenon Super Plasma" bulbs. I went with the eurolite's because no one around here carried the silverstars. I must say I'm very inpressed.

The eurolites match the silversar headlights very well. I can't tell a difference between the color of the fogs and the headlights. Also, I noticed the stock fog bulbs have an opaque cotaing on the top of the bulb which keeps the light from shining through. The eurolights don't have this and are way brighter even though they're the same wattage as the stock ones (37.5w)

I'm not so much worried about them matching or the color, but the visibility is more important.

Yeah, I used to have Eurolites but they blew every 3 months so I stopped buying them. I really liked them though, they looked white even during the day. (The Silverstars look yellow during the day but BRIGHT white at night)

I have silverstars and think they are the best you can buy...hands down. I always get em at walmart. But you can also get em at AutoZone or on ebay.
