i can't wait til saturday!!!!

i was tlaking to the guy that is doin my car, and i get it back on saturday! i can't wait! i havn't seen my car in about 2 1/2 weeks, i know i'm goin to be driving like 24/7 lol but next week (hopefully i'll have 1,000 miles on her) i'll take her to the track so what this thing runs. and i have decided that i'm goin with gold racing stripes, 8 inch with 1 inch in between. should look sick! like a 66 shelby hertz, and i'm also getttin the hood pins with the wires. any opinions welcome....-Jeff

Yeah the gold stripes are a good choice. I saw this fox mustang one time with the gt350 theme. Along with the racing striped he had stripes along the bottom of the door that said gt302 and it was painted just like the gt350. Looked pretty damn sick.

Please dont ruin the car with unnecessary hood pins and ugly stripes.

Instead, spend some more money on the parts on your car holding it back. Get 410's, a 75mm TB and an 80mm pro-m maf!

def not 4.10's i was thinking 3.90's somewhere down the line, but i love the shelby hertz and i want my car to look like that. and yea i'm gettin the DSS 306 put in. 2 more days! lol

LOL, the rpm difference between the 2 is like 100 rpm. 410 is the perfect choice for you especially with that big cam and big track heat intake!

I don't know about the gold stripes man. You got a black car, with black and silver rims, and you're gonna put silver hood pins on there with silver lanyards. IMO it will clash with the rest of your accents. Ever think about silver stripes?

Those stripes are they going to be painted or a decal? I have been thinking about a grey decal thing unless I can find someone that can hook me up with spraying mine. Post pics when you get it done.

I had hood pins on my first car (a 66 chevy imp.) and well I never used the wire I just kept it in the car, as I thought it might rub the paint and they just didnt look right. However, one time I had an issue with my exh. and used the wire to tie my exh. up for a 65-75 mile ride home one night.

I hope to start putting in my DSS 306 in the next week or so. yours is going to be realy nice.

thanks guys for all the comments, i'm goin to do gold stripes, i have seen pics and it looks good, i was tihnking about selling my rims and gettin the 40th anniversy gt rims, cuz they have a gold tint to them nad would nice if i had the gold stripes, i am not certain on the stripes yet but when i decide if i want them i'll et u guys know, and they will be decals cuz within the next 2 years my car will be gettin a paint job and cobra bumper, hood, and spoiler
