Hey all. No technical concern here, but I have to vent my frustrations! See, I was meeting a realtor in a parking lot that I have never visited. I pulled into the space and thought I had better back up just a tad. So, upon backing up, I heard a very loud scrape. A lady in the lot looked at me and I immediately knew what had happened. My wife looked at me and asked what had happened. I immediately noticed that all of the parking lot dividers/stops were like 1 and 1/2 times higher than normal ones. I had just caused the first self-inflicted blemish to my baby! AGGGHHHH! :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: How much would it cost to replace the front clip on her? I assume that's what it needs. The lower front deflector/spoiler has a nasty scrape (quarter sized) in it and a few other lighter ones. Needless to say, it was not the best day for me!

Dont you just hate that? My wife did the same thing in her old Camry. PUlled up into a parking spot...and there was a piece of rebar sticking out that you couldnt see...sticking out of the little parking curb stop. Next morning, she backed out and tore off her air diffuser...totally, and nearly tore off her front bumper cover.

Man, that rebar thing happened to my wife in her '92 SHO. Ripped a big tear clear through the front bumper cover. "Fortunately" my oldest daughter t-boned a whitetail later and the cover, hood and fender had to be replaced anyways. Sorry to hear about your stang.

My first one was from a 50 gallon garbage can, I backed into it, wasn't supposed to be there. If it's any help, at least you KNOW...1. Who did it. #2, how it got there and last but not least....you can breathe now, ding #1 is done. Mine was $400.00 to fix, back bumper, scraped into the plastic and needed to be paint matched.:hail2:
