I was minding my own business on the way to work this morning when I see a stupid C5 2 cars behind me.. Well, I know these things can beat me, but with my gears and a good launch, I figure i can stick with him at least into second. I get ready to launch at the light and he takes off normal. The jackass runs even with me and then out of know where, punches it, cuts in front of me, and then turns into my parking lot for work.. I parked my car, and went to find this idiot, but it looks like he just drove through the lot. His only goal was to PO a stang driver and then brag to his dumass friends how he kicked a stangs ass. My stang will not come out of winter storage now without being able to stomp on these idiots in c5's or Camaro's.

Good luck without a power adder and h/c/i of some sort. LS1 > all

Exactly what I am going to do

h/c/i or supercharger. I figure I need at least 340 hp
My cars a convert so it's heavy too.. Not too mention the 18 inch chrome cobra wheels, must weight 60 lbs each. Much more rotating mass.

Yes, I know a few ls1s that make 340 at the rear wheels with just an air filter and catback. If they just put in the right cam, and get supporting mods they are around 400hp or more...

A modded LS1 will require a power adder (or more cubes) to beat, but your typical street LS1 will be no problem for a H/C/I 5.0. Unless you can't drive .

Unfortunately where I live there is no such thing as a stock LS1.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
