I had been having on and off problems with wierd squeeks and sounds. there was a sound that was just like a cricket at the right speed. well I pulled off my front cowling thinking it was there and it ended up being the roof rail on the drivers side. there are metal clips that snap into place. placed some electrical tape on the metal clip snaped it back into place. I did the same on the cowling as well just in case.
now If I can figure out how to stop my ac vents from making racket I will have not anoying rattles.

My AC vents have the same annoying sound. Doesn't do it all the time fortunately.
