let me add...

next time when you mod your car, maby check out these forums online. Most of us have "been there" and we can tell you what is good and bad. If you don't want to wait, there is this magic button on the top of the screne that says "search". Try clicking on it one time, you can find wonderfull things with it.

You can also try working on the little nagging things (which can definitely start to add up). I'm talking about the non-performance stuff that has probably been overlooked. It ends up becoming as issue when the car starts feeling a bucket. That's what almost frustrated me into selling my '90. It wasn't the performance I had a problem with, it was all the little things that come with an aging car. Right now I don't have the time and money to do much but since it's not my daily I won't worry about for now.

The main reason I decided not the sell is that I knew I would miss the car too much. I bought the car bone stock in '94 and it's had practically the same combo since '96 (aside from the manifold & exhaust). After a few interested buyers called, I went for a drive I thought, "man, I am not selling this car." I have just put too much time and effort into and it's still a blast when I mash the pedal. Especially with my '92 AOD being my daily driver. I start to suffer withdrawls every few days from driving a basically stock auto. That and I'm still too cheap to go ahead and spend money on a newer car. You do what you gotta do.

Im off to bed, sell the car, you dont have the heart nor the dedication to have a fast car that you built, be like everyone else and buy something "fast".

"If you dont turn the bolts, its not yours."

Ive never had my car into a mechanics shop for the 7 years ive owned it ive rebuilt the engine myself, did all the porting, and also did a paintjob myself... so i dont think your "If you dont turn the bolts, its not yours." quote applies...

Dude im not a noob ive been reading these forums way before the date I joined which was 2003... I know what combos make big power and what mods are popular etc , Ive also read almost every 5.0 and MM&FF mag published since 1995... im just not into the buy new heads and intake thing that most people are into I like trying to make stock stuff fast which I think ive done a decent job at I bet I can give some H/C/I guys a run for their money in the 1/8th...

I'm baffled here. One minute you say your car is too slow, the next its fast? What do you actually concider fast and how far away are you?

Ill list a few things.. Im gonna need new paint soon , I need new wheels , It has porno red interior (wanted to dye it black), many interior "chirps" while driving , sunroof leaks , screws missing here and there etc. Im not gonna give up on it like I said earlier I was drunk and probably looking for attention. My bad.

NP brother. Trust me my frustration comes and goes (you can see most of it under "body work".) Paints fairly easy if the body is straight. California Mustangs sells screw kits.....Hell stick with it. Sounds like youve put enough time in it to justify it

IMO

THIS THREAD IS STUPID

On a side note just pick at your car till your happy with it...you don't need aluminum heads just a set of GT 40's ported will do just fine. The stock ones ported is a start but that's about it...What I do when I think my car is starting to seem slow is take my friends 86 IROC for a drive.....mine is a rocket compared to that
