I just got 14" Alcons on S351 #58 with 13" rear vented Alcon rotors.

The 14" Rotors really fill up a 18" wheel!! The car was just dropped down here so it's sitting kinda high still.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!!!

Yes this one is stock S351 Saleen except for the brakes and the 99up wheels which are rubbing on the front and I added the T 1 Race wing.

I have some idle issues I have to work out, I know Saleen put a crane cam in it but I'm not sure of the specs...you can hear it at idle though.

WOW, ....finally a mustang owner who has an experienced taste! I used to run a Corvette shop in GA, and we specialized in building "World Challenge" C6 Z06's.
A lot of the "Z" crowds first mods would be Brembo or AP Racing 6piston monoblock calipers w high-fric pads, however you rarely see a mustang enthusiast with a nice set of...... SEXY BRAKES.
I cant count on both hands and feet how many 700+hp Vettes ive seen with stock brakes at Road Atlanta on open track days boiling the pads and hitting the wall...Nothing ruins a track day quicker than putting her into the ole wall at ROAD ATLANTA at over 100+mph
....KUDOS!!!

Thanks!! I was going to go with a 6 piston but have 4 piston Alcons on my other Saleen and know how well they work and I got a smokin deal. The calipers are the same size just 4 bigger pistons instead of 6 smaller. The calipers are Huge compared to a Cobra caliper.

MM&FF did a test using only the front Alcon 14" they didn't install the 13" rear rotors because they wanted to be able to bolt on 15" rims with slicks. You can see how bad after the 3rd test the stock brakes get in the Cobra...not something I would want on a road course, I can see why you say people would loose it with stock brakes in their Vettes.

They had a 97 Cobra and the front rotors were Baer 2 piece this is what they found with just the Front 14" Alcon installed. No fade at all.
