Last night I was at our local dragstrip for the "midnight drags". I lined up with an 01' Bullitt. He had very similar mods compared to me, so I figured it would be a good race. Well, he failed to mention beforehand that he was running a 100 shot of nitrous. Anyways, light goes green and I get a small jump on him, get into 2nd gear and there he goes. I had nearly a car length on him and by the time he crossed the line, he had about 3-4 cars on me! They don't run the clocks for the midnight races, so I don't know what kind of times we ran.

I guess its time to get the NX wet kit!!!

What did you run on your pass? Surely they still give you a timeslip?

They only show the win light. They run the midnights basically to give the younger crowd a safe place to race and hang out. I used to go all the time when I was in high school.

Wow, I'm glad that HRP doesn't do the same way on their street night (fridays)

I'm running consistent 14.70s-14.71s and hoping Friday to finally put it into the 14.6s. I'm attempting to get the most out of this basic stock setup to say the least 150k miles, automatic, stock 3.08 gears, weld-in mufflers and a "custom" catted h-pipe that probably doesn't do nearly as well as an aftermarket uncatted pipe would. I'd hate to run my first 14.6 pass and not get a timeslip for it

i love my nitrous its worth the money to have just in case. like friday night i had a 06 c6 get next to me. we went from a 20 roll. ran him to a hundered had him by about 2-1/2 cars by then so i got out of it . i think if the other guy had been a better driver it would have been closer.

No springs in that pic. Still has the 4 X 4 stance!

Here's a pic with the springs installed.
