I already 3000 Pi converter,4.10's,Fipk,mac headers, american thunder cat,asp pulley's, and a rear seat delete. I ran this setup without the pulley and i got a 15.2 90 with a 2.21 60', but i didnt cool down the car at all. There was no spinning off the line. NOw that i gotta a job, I want these mods for the summer. Bassani X-pipe with cats- i got emmissions, Ford Racing 65mm TB- I dont have enough power get bigger Tb, C&L 76mm kit with the plastic sheild and everthing, 275-17-40 Nitto's 555r because imma need grip,I'm thininking TFS Street manifold but i dunt no yet, I also want to redo my headers and catback becuase i want bassani headers and magnaflow catback and i have like 4 bolts missing on my headers. What do you guys think is gonna happen with with the stuff and do u guys think the stuff i want is good or wat. I would opt for a pro-m cuz that wat alot of people say is good but they are more money and i dont see any info on them ever. thanks alot guys, Im hoping for low 14's after all this like 14.2 @ 96.

I think the exhaust and intake should give you more topend to bring up that mph. Then with good traction with 60ft in 1.9s 1.8s low 14s should be easy.

are you on drugs or do you normally incoherently ramble and make posts with no relevance to the title?

That maf will be absolutely USELESS at this point! I'd save the money and buy a used Cobra intake instead. My C&L maf kit was $300! My Cobra intake was $200! My C&L did NOTHING! My intake took me from a 14.8@95mph to a 14.1@99mph!

yea but i think the cobra intake is a hassle, they say you have to change to a fox setup tb and then elbow it and i would think that if i got a 94-95 one it would be good but they are expensive. i rather go wit a tfs street becuase i think it is a better intake then the cobra just incase i choose to grow later and its only 379 new the cheapest used cobra i have seen is 289

Get a 94/95 Cobra intake (I got a 95 SVO) and you'll be golden. Check the classifieds, they are really cheap, and eBay too.

As far as power goes, the Cobra intake can go a long ways. When ported, it can support a lot of power. Mine is ported too, I forgot to mention that.

EDIT: As for the fox setup, you only have to use a fox TB if you don't use the elbow. The elbow is made for us 94/95 guys who want to keep the 94/95 throttle body setup. You do one or the other, not both.

Definitely do the intake swap, choose whichever one you think best suites your long term goals with the car. With that throw on a TB and give you car a tune up. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor, pcv, clean mass air meter, etc. might need cleaning/replacing if you have not done it for quite a while. Also, get that choke off performance h-pipe off of your car and get a replacement like the bassani you mentioned for sure! I still think that your car should be trapping a higher MPH than it is, the stall, gears, and other mods should have shown more significant gains than they have.

I was surprised to see only 15's with those mods....mainly the converter and gears... I remember Vib mentioning knocking off close to a full second in his older car with converter, shift kit, and gears.

intake, tb, and mas, h-pipe. not c&l, spend the money on the pro-m its worth it.

what is the long term goal of teh car? if you want nice street n/a power just go with a cobra. if you are going to put on a power adder, i would go with the TFS.

figure out where u want to go with the car and then ask us what we think. i don't think u gave enough info.

Good post. I love it. I was thinking the same thing.

I've notice that this guy only does the "owned" thing. Apparently he just visit post for sake of using a limited vocabulary - "owned". Doesn't feel good does it? If you have no value to add then zip it. What you do is useless. Peace

I wouldn't spend the money on an MAF unless you are going full HCI or a power adder. You're stock MAF is good until 270ish RWHP which you won't be very close to. And by the time you are making enough power for another MAF, you'll be making enough power for bigger injectors, so I would get the MAF and injectors together, calibrated correctly.

You should be trapping lower then that. I would do a complete tune up before I started any more mods. Especially O2s... why does everyone forget these? Any part heat cycled thousands of times over 10 years is gonna take a dump and is not working as good as it used to be, i'll put money on it. And at WOT when dragging its the most important sensor!

I like my street heat! Big time mid RPM improvement.

In terms of how the poster writes... no its not easy to read but blasting the guy for it solves nothing and contributes nothing to the post. Ask him to articulate better and we will be able to answer his questions better. Calling his question incoherent and rambling does nothing except excite animosity. It's even more useless then popping the owned flag on a tech thread.

Theres something wrong with your car. A Stock AODE basically gets those times ~ 89mph. With a converter and gears you should be low 14's already....
Does your car run well? Try cleaning the MAFs.

ahh come on, guys, give me a break. gotta have a comic relief! i DO NOT just go around posting the "owned" thing--it was appropriately placed!

seriously, though, i'm definately with Chris on saving the money on the throttle body for the intake. i didn't see heads on your list--might wanna seriously consider those, too, even if you just get gt40's. try and start from the inside out--i'm sure that'll help out a LOT when coupled with the stall you got.
