Nice car bro. nice and clean.

quick question though, if you are hoping for at least 310 to the wheels and are going to be spraying, why didn't you move up to 30lb injectors?? other than that, it is a very nice setup!

welcome to the boards

and before anyone points out the huge heads on a 302...i plan on going 331...dunno if i wanna pick the components myself or go with a DSS super bullet. that wont be for a while though...full time college student with no job= lil mod money :D

cool, i knew that there had to be a good reason. lol I figured that since you had a custom FTI cam, Ed would have told you to run 30's like he told me when I talked to him. I have a custom cam from him in mind soon as well as probably having him port my tfs heads. I'll probably get my new intake before doing that though.

I'd like to know what numbers you put down. You should hit the 310 mark easy and probably more like 320 range would be my guess depending on how well your heads are ported and how aggressive he did your cam.

when you move up to the 30's, do an 80mm mass air meter and you should be set.

Oh, and I am a full time student again with no job, living only on my GI Bill, so I hear ya.........good job so far!!!

later

I have a very nice set of 30# and the MAF to go with it. The MAF hasen't been out of the plastic wrap since I got it back from Pro-M. Feel free to check it out.

what bulbs do you have in the headlights and corners?
all of the bulbs in the front are PIAA platinums. they are nice bulbs, but definately not worth the money. the side marker and turn signal bulbs are clear as well and give off an amber color when they blink. the headlights are type of a super white with a slight bluish tint

Welcome , nice looking car you have there. Where did you get your hood pins? I have been looking for a set with some nice heavy cables like that.
the pins are made by moroso. they are stainless posts and plates, but i think the pins themselves are chrome plated, because the inside of mine are rusting a lil bit, but its nothing a lil polish cant fix. i really like the pins they make because they dont rust like Mr. Gasket ones. i bought them on ebay...check out ebay, other than that i'd say summit. ford racing has a set in their catalog as well.

i have no idea what the car is putting down right now. the car was put together and driven. i want to get a tune done by the winter with a flip chip (NA tune and N2o tune). i'm shooting for a modest 320 on a 50 shot which i think is easily achievable.

as far as larger injectors and mass air meter. i'm planning on going with some sort of forced induction. i dunno if its gonna be blown, turbo'd, or juiced (fogger system). that wont be for at least a year though.

the cam specs out similarly to an XE274HR. its a beast above 2800-3000RPM

exactly what im looking for...the clear bulbs that light up amber - did you order them online?

i really like the ride man. the only thing negative thing i can say is that factory shroud kills the engine bay, hide some wires, but i wish mine was that far along, i guess it all comes in time. cant wait till i get my chrome R's. great job!!!!!!!!!!
