just came back from my girlfriends father where i have the car now. The engine is fine, no strange sounds or anything but the clutch is no more :<

Cool! I ment to ask what the smoke smelled like.

I know it sucks but thats WAY better then engine failure. Perfect time to upgrade! Get a Centerforce DFX and also swap the flywheel too. Good time for a lightened one. With it smoking that bad I am sure you have some heat spots on the stock one.

Backfire. Blown engine at 100% load for a few seconds and an overly rich (for safety I assume) tune and sometimes they will backfire like that.

Did it blow out a coupleing?

Either that or the clutch blew apart.

Yep, that is definatly a hardcore clutch failiure.

I also would not let someone dyno my car at an angle like that. Sitting the idling, ok, but running it hard I am suprised you didn't starve the oil pump.

Very nice Spring Edition by the way...

Im gonna pick up the new clutch today and hopefully get started on the car tomorrow. I'll try to take some pics if i see something interesting
