1 week ago I just asked for a clutch cable at the canadian pif paf, and then, I came back home, installed it, and then, it was too long. SO I go back to change it, and then the guy just said, try the 8cyl clutch cable. So I go back home with the 8cyl clutch cable, installed it, and this time, guess what? it was too short... Damn, I'm tired..

So, what clutch cable should I try this time???

a: it is called Crappy tire

b: Canadian/Crappy Tire sucks from coast to coast

C: the Canadian tire in montreal near the airport sucks donkey dick (especially the service manager Jacque) he took the automotive dept 3 days to fix my buddy's 240sx which was a 30 minute job so we had to stay in the city for 3 days more than we wanted.

I've done a brake job for one of my friend yesterday, and the guy was habitually going to CT to make this done, and when I've tried to remove the bolts, it was all crosstread... :S

Clutch cable

The donkey thing had me on the floor.

Anyway - regardless of its a 6 or 8 cyl the clutch cable is the same. I'm not too certain about the 4 cyl however i'm pretty sure it used a T5 so it would use the same cable.

Cheers!

the 4 and 8 are the same? Not sure about that?

Keasbey, stupid question. Where are you running the clutch cable? I'm curious because your doing a T5 swap?

Yeah I'm doing a T-5 swap, and a 2.3T swap... I've just run it into the speedocalbe hole, after that I have change the speedo cable to another hole..

oh ok

I bought my clutch cable at pif paf and it went in fine.

Do you have a bellhousing from a 2.3T or a plain 2.3? I doubt there would be a difference but if you have a bellhousing from a 2.3T, order a 2.3T cable...

And yeah Canadian pif paf can suck a lot!
