Yeah I decided to avoid these guys at all cost after the generally bad reviews I have heard about them. Not a lot of choices though. I have been looking at modding with a newer unit, but my wife got antsy about me ordering it this weekend for xmas, so I went to John's Mustang and ordered the Kenwood model with CD changer unit. It was like $400 total. We'll see how it is. I know that Kenwood isn't what it used to be, but at least it doesn't have a bizillion running horses across the face or anything tacky like that. Besides, John's return policy seems much better too. Keeping my fingers crossed. I really don't need the best there is, but I don't want to waste my money on junk either, just want decent sounding classic tunes to cruise by so I really hope this fits the bill.

I have a Custom Autosound deck in my car. I had to install an extra filter to get rid of the damn buzz the speakers were getting. It works decent, but its still weak. I have 2 Kenwood 5x7's in the back and 2 Kenwood 6 1/2's in the kicks. I am thinking of putting an amp in to get the volume and sound clearer and better.... well see.

No pictures of the speakers currently though...
