I thought that picture looked familar. If you can see the break and both ends, just get a small piece of rubber tubing and make the 2 broken ends meet. You only need like a 1 inch peice of it and Auto Zone sells it, or just plug it...

If you can't Duck it, ***** it.

Put a piece of tape on that sucker, just make sure it's lined up good. I had to do this in a pinch and it worked fine, and i havent changed it because i'm lazy and it works..lol

I don't even understand why Ford put PLASTIC vacuum tubing in because the slightest bend and "snap". Who said engineers are smart.

Oh, I have a few broke ones too and no driveability or smog related problems. WTF

same here. we need someone who is really smart and educated in this stuff. i dont have any smog equipment and dont have the egr hooked up. does it matter if these lines are on the car anyways?

What does rubber have a tendency to do under extreme vaccum or pressure? It either caves in or expands. They chose a hard material so that it would do neither under those extreme circumstances.

Mine had a slight idle serge when i had one unpluged. If you unplug one all the rest are usually effected. If i had them broken or cracked i would either plug them or fix it. Its cheap and can help car run better. JMO.

Hey guys I just looked at that diagram and noticed that the "S/C" on the brake booster tree controls the cruise control. Well I got rid of mine, but ever since I have had a vacuum whistle. Can I just cap that off? Would that work? Thanks-J
