I plan on doing it all in one shot. I want to do it before Nov. 25 where a bunch of local guys are renting out a track, but I'll probably end up doing it over the winter break. I am gona compile all the parts and then put it all on at once, hopefully ove like a 3 day weekend.

Dont count on it your going to have to mock the stuff up and fabricate brackets. Its going to take at least a week or 2. Plus you probabbly have to get the car tuned or something.

I just noticed this, where in the heck is that guys tb? Anyway if it works for you I might try one, dosent look that hard, the biggest fab will be the blower outlet, and the bracket to hold it to the engine, I think I could do it in a couple of days. tuning wise all you would need would be a afpr, and the 30 psi injectors and the mass air, and a wideband, it would be pretty easy to tune, cuz of the low boost.

ok... so what all do you need to do this besides the blower, the piping, brackets, and the obvious upgrades(injectors, fuel pump, etc.)

if you look in the second picture you can see a part of the bottom of the TB(like the throttle cable part bracket). I was wondering too but i kept looking and it looks like he fabbed it up underneath the blower.

No offence to anyone...no opinion on the blower (too much work and not enough bling for me ) but all the best on the project for sure...anyways as I was saying...this quote is the funniest thing I have read on here in I don't know how long. Thankyou for that

It looks like it down by his MAF under the blower. You can barely see it and the linkage.

Looks like a nice project you have on your hands. Would I do it no, but it looks sweet and good luck. I'm just not a fan of roots blowers. I'd take the upper rpm range power of a centrifigal anyday though. Nothing gears and the already stout low end these cars have can't make up for anyway.

Ryan, pretty cool your willing to spend the extra .20 a gallon for your gas. Glad to see that. Just be sure to bump the timing up to take advantage of the premium, as with a higher octane it burns slower and it might lose just a hair of power w/o the timing advanced to back it up.

Well thanks for the POSITIVE replies. I am going to try this, if it don't work, it don't and I'll cut my losses and sell, then I'll make a profit seeing as how much they are going for on ebay.

I don't think the 30 # injectors will be needed. I doubt I will even need an afpr, I won't be making enough power to use 30 #ers, they are WAY overkill. I am probably/hoping for around 270-280 at the wheels.

Its not a show car, so I am not worried bout the "Bling" factor, although I just bought some ICE for my car for the car show at Summit tomorrow!

My dad is an AWESOME welder and he is really really lookin forward to this, we need the father/son time.

Good to see you're trying to make your plan work and be original - I still say you have a lot of work ahead of you, but if you do pull this off, you'll be able to shove all the haters words back in their faces. Good luck!
