i have big clicking sound

hi i have a 2005 manual mustang gt with almost 6 thousand miles for the past 2 months ive experienced a loud clicking sound when im stopping the ,it seems its coming from the middle of the car does any one know what it could be please help

Have you been running your Air Conditioner??? If so that could be it......

yup - my bet too. The A/C clutch should have had a muffler put on it! Maybe even a couple of cats (as it catalytic converters) :damnit:

The center plastic cap on the wheels.

My 05 5sp gt convert had a bad clunk or clank when stopping. the noise was centered near the right rear wheels. after checking out everything, ford suggested that the dealer replace the rear brake shoes, etc. seems to have fixed the problem.

Have you done the strut bearings yet? If not, that's the problem...

I haven't done mine yet and they are getting loud.
