i have monroe sensatrack shocks, how are they?

How does the car ride? Is it nice and tight or does it seem to bounce around? Monroe shocks are like el cheapo replacements. If they work though and you like the ride then there is no pressing reason to change them. Other shocks and struts to look into are tokicos, kyb, and Bilstein. :spot:

I dissagree, Sensatracks are not cheapo's, they are actually pretty good shocks/struts. They have a valve inside that adjust to road conditions, such as Bilstiens have. They arn't much of a performance strut/shock though, they are designed to give better than stock comfort with better than stock performance, but not the kind of performance we are looking for with our cars.

I have KYB's on my fox and my beater grand am, they are good performance units but they have a harsher ride than higher quality struts. You get what you pay for.

I don't know what kind of suspension mods you have if any. If it's mostly stock I would just keep the Sensatracks on there until you have other components and match them to your combo.

the car seems real firm, doesnt roll or bounce, it does however seem to hit bumps hard, but i think that is like any mustang, becuase it seems to be allitle better than most ive been in. the car doesnt sway on burnouts, seems to grab decently for street tires...

ive got them on my car...not sure how old they are. i dont really like the ride...it bottoms out a lot if i have people in my car. but i guess thats normal for a mustang. i really want new shocks and springs..but cant afford them.
