I have tranny question VERY IMPORTANT

I have a 1990 Ford Mustang GT 5.0. It had an AOD in it and I went through those things like water. Everyone told me to put a C4in there so I did. Now I have another problem. For the past couple weeks I would try to drive my car as soon as i crank it and it would slip realllly bad. As soon as I let it warm up driving it. I would be driving in 1st gear turning 5000 rpms and then at once it would grab instanly and run great. But now it will not pull itself at all. Can anyone tell me what it is. I just put this thing in there a month ago. It has plenty of fluid, new filter Got any ideas?

That is hard to say, take it to a good tranny tech which will have the right tools and experience to figure out exactly what the problem is.

I guess the first thing to find out would be weather it gets line pressure or not.

Its used. I just tried adjusting the intermediate and low and reverse bands and it seemed like it was working then quit?

Are you having these installed at a shop? You say you have been through a bunch of AOD's and now a C4. If these are being installed by a shop you might try another shop.
