Ok first off it is a 4 cylinder and I am going to swap it out for a 5.0
I am going to drive it the way it is while I build up the engine.

PROBLEMS I AM HAVING!
1) The horn, cruse controll, and blower fan for the heater does not work.
Where do I start to look for problems?

2) The tach reads 3000 rpm at idle and 4000 when in overdrive, I know it is
not accurate how do I fix that?

3) The car has all new brakes and shocks all arround but when I hit a big pot hole the front end makes a loud CLUNKING noise like somthing is loose.

Thanks Phil

Check the fuses .
Replace the tach.
Put the car up on jackstands and look for loose components. Use a long pry bar under the wheel to lift it while watching the A arm for looseness. Move the jackstands out under the A arms as close to the ball joint as possible and do the pry bar trick again. This time watch for slack in the ball joints.

No the air bag light is not lit nor any other indicator lights.

Thanks for the ball joint tip I will check them this weekend.

Also there was a after market radio that was hacked into the harness and when I use the dimmer switch the radio shuts off, what could cause that?

It may be hooked into the dimmer switch...

unfortunately I've seen worse. Every wire you need is in 2 harnesses (grey and black?). Check those harnesses behind the radio. I used to have a diagram, and I know Tmoss has an excellent site for such if I can find it ;)

lol - No donations needed - funny to think that some day 20 years from now when I'm pushin up daisies some guy is gonna be using my digrams and thinkin "who the *uck is tmoss?".
