well went to see it today. what a shame to see an svo like that. it has a nasty dent and scratches everywhere, needs tuning, and possibly a thicker head gasket cuz he runs it with 20 pounds. it has a melted dash, ripped seats, tranny has problems with the synchros, its a mess. i feel bad for an svo being like that. those cars deserve better. and he runs it open header. oil was black, and was missing the cover on the crank belt. sad.


well, im probably gonna be lookin for 4 eyed GT's or muscle cars. we'll see. the insurance company took back the check cuz the guy filed a complaint sayin something about his engine not acting normal. so the lady said not to worry cuz by law they need to do this but they knwo hes lying. so theyll be paying me $60 everyday. hopw that goes good

I had a similar experience recently when a hit and run driver totaled my 89GT. I got $3400 and paid $140 to keep the car. Off came all the mods and parts that I thought were reusable. I got a nice clean and tight 89 LX 5.0 the same color with 129K on it for $4500, thank you Jesus. The yard shed is full of parts now that need some cleaning and fixing before they get transplanted into the LX.

I have already made up the $140 replacing a water pump, smog pump and A/C switch from the shed spare parts. Buying back the wrecked car was a good plan. I found someone to tow the shell off for free - the car had no rear axle and all 4 wheels were removed.

nice!! u got lucky on that. i couldnt find a way to keep mine. i took off all the aftermarket things before i junked it. hell, i even still have the title lol.
