Seems like I'm seeing more and more "finished" fox bodies without side moldings. Saw one today that was very nicely painted last year and it was missing all the side moldings.

There is one in town that some dude who works at a body shop owns, nice paint job, missing like 3 parts of the molding...

My coupe is also missing said side molding. It's getting them painted and put on Next Monday. They are easy to find (the side moldings) so I'm not sure why not just put them back on....

I'm with you. I think they look like poop without the side mouldings.

My father n law did his without side moldings, but it is a race car, nit a street car. Still has a nice paint job though. Not sure why they did it that way.

The 79 - 84 moldings are getting harder to find and are not in reproduction. Often they are way overpriced when they do come up for sale. I suspect some choose to run without due to not having a full set of decent ones to put on. I'm still trying to complete my set for my 79, I'm still short the pieces for both quarter panels.

Side moldings are going to be the last thing I get for my Vert, I'd like to have them and they do look much better with them on there but it's not a necessity for me.
