My 05 GT just came in wednesday this thing is awsome a lot more refined than the 04 and older cars.
I’m keeping the v6 it’s still faster than the GT.

Pics are on link below.

Congrats. I drove the 05 my mom brought home on a test drive. I found it worlds better than the 03 she has. Of course, she has a V6 right now, so I wasn't comparing engines. Interior felt better. The body felt better. I really like looking out of the windshield over a mile of hood. =)

Really nice car man. how long ago did you order it? Around here you cant find 05's, even 6's. Just sold out everywhere. I talked to a salesman at one of the dealerships and he said most of the people that ordered an 05 will end up with 06's because of the dmand and wait to get one.

Thanks for all the comments every one.

stage427 and 77sleeper I’ve always loved red interior, red on red just makes it even better in my opinion.

cruisinV6 I ordered it in early to mid April The sales man tolled me I needed to order it then or it my not get built.

It was special ordered for me and the sales man said he thinks mine is the only red on red 05 mustang built according to dealer net witch is what they use to see what has been built and is available. He also said he got dozens of calls from people wanting to buy my car.

Congrats on the purchase. Ford designed the car from pretty much scratch, so the frame, chasis, suspension are all adapted for optimal performance with each component from the very start. The rear suspension is astonishing when compared to our SN95 cars.

The interior is definitely a plus, I sat in a 05 V6 - a friend's and the seats, position, shifter, steering wheel all felt smooth and comfortable - way better than my 00.

How much was it?

Well I work for a ford dealer so I got a discount, I got it for $24100 and MSR is $27900. A base GT no options is $24200 MSR.
