I know people tend to ask a lot for black interior...but this is ridiculous!

LOL sagging map pockets and all!

AND "if picked up locally an $80 handling charge will be added for safe removal of all parts"? What the **** is that? Dude's selling an interior of a car but also charging to remove it. What a dip****. At least it's not like anyone's going to buy it anyway so it doesn't matter, but still that's very slimy to request.

My friend just scored a black interior from a 2.3 at the junkyard for $70

He only got about 50% of it, but the parts he did get are MINT. I just checked out the dash and it's in better condition than mine!

I agree. $2600 for the interior, and he's gonna charge you to remove it???

Most i've ever heard of someone paying for a black interior was $1500 for a pretty mint Black Convertible Leather interior. It was in great shape too. I saw it in person

Had the same thing happen to me....sort of. After spending countless hours dying various pieces of my interior black, spending a lot of time making it look perfect.....a few months later I found a complete black interior COUPE at the boneyard.

I ended up selling all the pieces on eBay....made a small fortune. :)

I'm actually in the process of redoing mine. New carpets, new headliner and replacing any of the black trim peices that have scratches on them i don't like.

I don't imagine i'll have a prob selling off the black stuff i remove.

I wonder if I can get that kind of money for my original black interior, which incidently is in better shape than his. With everyone swapping black interiors, I got a feeling in a few years Porno Red will be the hot item.

I saw a guy with a complete black interior for a notch at a swap meet. I figured cool, it'll be cheap....He wanted 1,000 bucks for it. I laughed and walked away. That really wasn't a terrible price, but a swap meet is where you get stuff cheap. I bought a complete set of GT seats from and rear for 100 bucks. I bought LX tail lights for 5 dollars each. Those are swap meet prices.

But the convertible has a couple pieces that are pretty rare, which should/would net a larger price tag. And leather boosts that a lot too of course. $1500 isn't bad at all for a mint set of everything in a one-shot deal. Unlike this joker...

I wish he had a Best Offer butter, we could have fun with him :rlaugh:

i bought a whole car for 200 bucks with a mint interior and sold it to a friend for 200 dollars minus the interior.he scrapped the car and got back more than double his initial investment of 200 bucks:D.this guy is from my neck of the woods and i am shocked .he could get 500 bucks tops but 2600 bucks  outragous:jaw:

What a waste of money. Honestly, the black interior is good for nothing but getting hot. The grey/black interior looks better anyways. Yes, black interior is nice. But not these old mustangs. It looks cheap and blah. The new mustangs black interior is a whole different game. If your gonna swap, do that swap.

lol watch it buddy, i like my black interior. but it is original in my car so...

its funny, when i see a car with grey/black, i think it looks sick, when guys with grey/black see mine, they want mine. guess you always want what you dont have...

I kinda like the grey/black interior too. It looks cleaner and hides dirt well.

The best interior i've ever seen IMHO was Groverdill's interior.

It was the cleanest grey/black interior you could imagine with 99=04 dark charcoal front leather seats.

I like my black interior, but if i ever came across a clean and cheap grey/black cloth interior, i might consider doing the swap again.
