a million times, but I just picked up a 2000 GT and I'm looking to replace the mufflers. Years ago, I worked at a "mail order" performance supplier and we always used Flowmaster on our 5.0 Mustangs. Is Flowmaster still the best/loudest for the money, or have they been replaced?

If you want the classic chambered, or muscle car sound get some origional 40 series Flow's, or some Mac Flowpaths. The Mac mufflers flow better and sound a little deeper than the Flowmasters aswell.

If you are keeping the stock H pipe, or going with an aftermarket pipe I would reccomend a chambered muffler. If you are thinking of an X pipe without cats, than a flow through or turbo muffler will sound best (according to everyone).
