didn't you say you already got the axles?

yeah after i got em and looked em over closely i notice that the splines are chipped i only paid 40 for em so o well...i guess next time i wont just look at em from a distance and say here's the money...the 40 was just for axles that's why 35 seems REALLY cheap for axles and drums.....

Yeah I just looked in your first thread about your new car"project 88 lx:Im in deep" or something like that and I saw no mention of you doing bullets or split 5s, and you did mention that you weren't going to mod your car. I don't even know why I care, not like you ave the money to get rims anyway...

Why do you guys get your freakin' jollies off of bustin his balls? Holy ****.

On a side note, I have the 98 gt wheels--"split fives" and I like em. I saw exactly one other car (on the internet) with them on, now everyone is getting them; and this has been in the last year.

sweet, 96+ spindles are the way to go if you really want to fine tune your suspension

I thought you could not use the 96+ spindles? Everybody talks highly of the 94-95's. I used the 95's on my 91 notchback. I am using the 01 suspension on my 81 notch, so the 96's will work??

I know that, but is the track width the only thing that changes? 8mm isn't that much. How is the suspension "tuned better" with them?

You can use them. They actually offer better suspension geometry and are often recommended by companies who make from k-member/aarm/coil over setups that they only be used and not the 94-95 versions.

From a performance standpoint, they 96-04's are better than 94-95...but it's just that extra width that sucks. If you plan your wheel choices smartly, you can get around it.

FYI, the 8mm number is incorrect, it's more like 14mm. The 94-95's actually also push the front wheels out 5mm.
