So its been almost week snice i took my car back to bodyshop(after discovering bodyline where they did the repair did not match otherside), and i went there today for the 3rd time, and its still off. I think they are trying to move tail light around to cover contour of bodyline thats not same as opposit side. which is messed up.
So I told owner of store "F this. I'll see you in few days. Better get it right next time".

But I'm starting to think that my car will never be fixed right, and contour will be never match the other side....

Piss me off that all this headache, because some cockcheeze backed in to it in parking lot.

Dude who hit my car is pretty much home free now. Sure he paid $575 fine, and few points on his record, and may be increase on insurance premium, but thats about it. Dude own a nice restrant. So i'm sure he don't give a crop about few bucks in fine and premium.
Meanwhile, my car is all screwed up, I'm dealing with bodyshop that refused to redo their screwup, giving me runaroud, i'm paying insurance and car payment on the car that i haven't driven no more then 10 miles since 08/05/06, And likely that it'll never be right.

I just want to shoot somebody right now

That sucks to hear man!!

It could be worse... You could've come out to your car one day, started it and spun a bearing on startup .. (now i'm without a MOTOR)

thats yes and no. that is truely suck. But thats matter of new motor put in. fix bodywork to perfection AFTER they fixed it all wrong is just... painful process.
U have to convince that the bodyshop screw up(impossibly hard), then convince them to fix the issue right(they WILL do anything they can to cut corners), and constantly on their ass for them to do it right this time is like nightmare

But sorry to hear about your motor. hen did this happen?

Why can't you take it to another more reputable body shop?

Don't your state laws protect your right to take it anywhere?

that sucks man...I know its hard to get a car right after an accident and many say they will never be the same but you can only hope.

I havent driven my car in about 2 months cause of the tranny being out and I have not a second to finish now that im back at school. Working full time and going to school full time sucks. And I dont have a garage so i can only work on it on nice days, you dont get many in NY this time of year.

I would not settle on the repairs! Do not take the car back until you are satisfied...do you have a rental car? if not make the guy pay for one. Do you have a lawyer? Call your insurance company and start complaining!!!! Tell them you are getting annoyed and if your car is not fixed soon you expect to be compensated extra. Don't take crap...the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Why don't you go visit his restaurant and accidentally find a finger in your chili or accidentally drop your pet cockroach cage and with horror watch it open up and the lil bastards start scattering. That would be a terrible accident.

Hense, I can't take it to anywhere, becasue they've already did the repair.
i could take it else where, but that cost ME money.

I'm getting this close to that point tho

But I don't care if its gonna take them 6 month to get it right. they are getting it RIGHT Damn it!

Plus i'm getting little intimate with my TransAm these days, and actually fixing things that I set out to do a while back. So i guess thats good

Replacing rearend, with Torsen and 3.42 gear, Moser axle, new Aluminum driveshaft, 12" rear disc conversion, new TQ arm, Panhard bar(still waiting on that tho), Walbre Fuel pump with new sender.

Well, although it sucks to get hit ..... the problem is with the 'under performing' shop, not the guy who hit you.
Consumer issue .... you have options and recourse. It's understandable to be disappointed and frustrated but take it out on those truly responsible.
Contact the Better Business Bureau or your insurance company.

Good luck, we miss the car too.

Sucks
But seriously, I would complain to the insurance company about the quality of work. You are just one customer to the body shop, and they have already been paid, so what do they care? But if the insurance company comes to them with the issue, that is a threat of losing of alot of business. I believe alot of body shops get most of their business from insurance company referrals. They may not want to risk causing aggravation to the insurance company, and so be more willing to get the job done right on your car. Good luck
