I moved my alternator to driver side today...

I just cant stand the turbulence with the windows down, it takes all the fun out of being in a car for me. I'll drive with the vent on and be hot than have the windows down; thats why I need to recharge my a/c.

Plus I like the shock value of driving with the a/c on in my ''old'' car.

ya, Ga heat does is a killer, i live in forsyth co. to me though, 500RWHP is more important than a/c... plenty of days where i wish I had it, but its all good. i'll never get rid of my heater though:D

And while you are laughing at him for having no a/c....he'll be laughing at your for not having two snails under the hood. I'd take two turbos over A/C any day.

A couple years ago a lived in south carolina...let me tell you...new england summers are cool in comparison. i wouldn't worry about it man...you made the right choice.

I think you're missing the point of my initial statement. My response wasn't about boost and it certainly wasn't about getting into a pissing match between turbos and blowers. My response was that you're saving next to no power by deleting your A/C...especially at that power level. You said 500rwhp was more important to you than A/C, but you could have both right now if you're set up was a little more thought out. Ditch the system if you want, but don't try to fool yourself or others into thinking you had the option of having power, or no power with it. Because you could have easily had both. ;)

a pulley swap and a decent intercooler if you dont have one already will put you over the 500 mark and you could keep the A/C. I'm with gearbanger on this one.

the alternator was in the way of my turbo; my A/C system was deleted a year ago, only the condenser remained... Any logical person would get rid of the dead weight and move the alternator to that location so the serpintine belt would operate correctly...
