I see a floor mat as a place I put my messy feet .
so I'm not going to spend $85 on floor mats to wipe my feet on
I get new mats for $12 twice a summer and they look great.
But this year I think I got it figured out. $12 mats and $.75 iron oNS
and I bought some weather strip cement (black) I'm going to glue these puppies on there and clap them down in the vice over night and see what $85 dollar floor mats?
do you think? ****am

Badass! I'm in the same boat, I just can't bring myself to spend $80 (or more) on a logo set of floor mats. Some things I can justify spending a little more money on, but that's just stupid.

Yeah I'm going to end up doing roughly the same thing. I don't even want to know how much mats with "SC/302" embroidered on them is going to be.

Good thinking, I like this idea, I guess I am cheap also. Where did you get the mustang patches?

Bah - who wipes their feet on floor mats

The driver's side mat goes face-to-face upside down on the passenger side one, and any passenger puts his feet on that. Mine go on the rubber portion of the carpet. Dirty shoes don't enter my car anyway, so no worries.

Great idea though, as a fellow cheapo I agree with you. I have tan mats in my daily driver because I'm not going to spend $90 on the charcoal/black set.

Lol, I do that too. I put the $10 mats on top pf the $85 dollar mats. And I am usually clean when I get in my car too.

I do the same in my daily driver, because the oem logo mats are $100 so I just put cheap mats over them in the winter

I wouldn't call that being cheap at all. I think that is a great idea.

Same here but sometimes you dont see the spot of oil on the bottom of your shoe. I have been known to turn mine face down and put my feet on the rubber backer but in the summer i wear sandals alot and have been known to kick the pedals barefoot, thats when its nice to have new carpet.
