I need a clutch.....recomendations?

Hey guys, im in need of a clutch. I had a Spec Stage 1 which i liked. The motor is just a gt-40p with explorer intake and a custom Ed C. turbo cam. I might go back to turbo later this summer but not positive. Trannny is a tko-600. Just lookin for what u guys like, how much it costs, and where'd u get it.

I have a king cobra clutch, paid 160$, works just fine even with drag radials and slipping at launch.
A turbo might kill it tho

PS: I have 19lb injectors, pm if interested

I have a king cobra to. Im pretty much stock and I have bashed on it for almost 2 years and its fine.

don't kow how hardcore you're looking to go, Nate, but my brother-in-law and i installed a Spec Stage 2 clutch in my cousin's 01 GT and it's worked out great.

the pedal feel was not bad at all (he has a firewall adjuster and triple-hook quadrant) and it's held up to a year's worth of lots of nitrous.

whatever that's worth to you.

Nate, call Walt (Sr. or Jr.) for a clutch at Promotion Powertrain. Their "kustom" setups are very nice.

You really should decide now whether you want to go with more power in the future. It's a tough call, but it would be important in your clutch decision. If you're not adding any boost, I'd go with the KC and the MM clutch kit and be done with it. If you want to add more power in the future I'd look into one of the promotion pieces.

I have a Mcleod in mine. I wouldn't recommend it if you drive on the street a lot though. The engagement isn't the smoothest and the pedal effort is annoying at times. I've haven't thrown all that much power at it but I think there supposed to hold up to some serious power.
