333 rwhp - 330 ft/lbs on a Mustang Dyno 2 months ago

Haven't gotten to the track yet, so I don't have any times, but I haven't had any problems with Z06s.

Probably a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember off the top of my head, but the A/C works really well and it's pretty fun.

I know a couple of people who are interested, I'm just not sure on what I should ask. Thanks!!!

If I were you I would buy stock stuff off the web(tranny/motor) for a couple grand at most and then sell it close to stock. You will get close to what the car is worth back to stock and at least half of what you spent on mods(not including labor of course)

i would of course see if you could sell irt whole first

I am with Jackie Chan for shure. Put most of the stock parts back in it, and sell the aftermarket stuff separate. The car isnt worth as much as you put into it like that. You obviously invested a ton of cash into that thing and you are lucky to get 13 grand for it.

Unless you find someone who wants all of that stuff and knows what all the mods are worth don't expect much more than average book value.

is it just me or does the hp/tq seem really low for those mods that much money and mods for only 333 rwhp???

edit: just noticed it was on a mustang dyno! what does the 333rwhp translate to in dynojet #'s????

Yeah, I'm not expecting to make any kind of profit off of this. I got my money's worth just driving it around.

I've been told that the MD is roughly 20% lower than a dynojet...so maybe 400-ish rwhp.

You already got a built motor with cobra crank. might as well just buy cobra heads and intake + whatever else you need to make into cobra. unless you like 99+ stangs better.

my 2 cents

GINO!!!
LEts figure this out

ok retard

low compression shortblock
auto tranny
stock heads
shorty headers
mustang dyno

im sure with a few tweaks(cams longtubes) the car is good for mid 400's or better on a dynojet

On a Dynojet, he would be at 380-390 range. I've seen 8 lb prochargers with sticks pull 340-350, so 380-390 with an auto and 12 lb pulley isn't bad. Probably could do better with a good tune.

Thats still exremely low....i'd expect close to another 60-80hp out of that combo even on a Mustang Dyno. The CR's not all that low considering it's a '98 with a PI conversion. Those 17cc pistons are putting it right around 9:1. Besides, he's still running 12psi of boost and although the heads are stock, they're still PI's. Hell, even the KB cars are making over 400rwhp on the dynojet and that's only with 9psi....

ok, 12lbs of boost with a conservative tune through an auto, shorty headers, and a stock intake on a mustang dyno is fine

Here are a couple pics. The paint is in awesome condition and the interior is spotless.

I ran against a cobra this morning and now I'm starting to question my decision.

Anybody dropped a T-56 into an SN95 auto?

Have you talked to these guys? http://www.blacksautomotive.com/
They seem to deal in Stangs with mods done to them. Not sure how much they would give you for it. There also just an hour away from Melbourne.

They're still PI heads. Just spin the blower until it begs for mercy.

Haven't guys with Cobra Killer's kit been going up to 400RWHP and beyond, on stock heads? Even with the extra loss from the auto, the bottom end is forged. Just crank the boost up or get a more powerful blower.......I don't see what I'm missing here.

You got a lot of money in mods there, but a green GT with a brown vert with that many miles...i can't really see you selling that for too much. I dont know maybe i'm wrong. That car wouldn't interest me at all.

I DO know if you trade that car in, you wont get dick for it. So don't try that. Eitehr part the car out, or sell it as a whole, but i dont know if you'd get more than 10-12k for it. I may be way off base, but after trying to sell my 98GT last summer for 10k, it ended going for 7k. More people seem to like either the 99+ GTs or the 5.0s So goodluck.
