I just recently put a set of Monroe shocks on the car from advance auto. They were the best ones they sold. The car now rides rougher than it did with the 18 year old stockers! I didn't change my quads out though could having new shocks and 18 year old quads be screwing with the ride or do my new shocks just blow? I don't want to spend a fortune on shocks , just something decent for the street. I know it is a mustang and isn't supposed to ride like a caddy but this is way worse than before I replaced them.

the quad shocks were just for wheel hop, shouldnt have much to do with ride quality...

yep, the KYB 6 shock/strut kit is probably the best bang for the buck. good time to do some bushings too. LOL.
and Custom89 is right - quads are for wheel hop. get some good arms and you can ditch those too. well, there goes the budget. LOL.

good luck big J.

CJ, how did you answer before the original post/question? LOL.
do you know who will win the World Series? ill take you to Vegas.

another vote for kyb's.i have the gr-2s and i'm sure there are better shock/strut combos out there but they 10xs better than any monroe or gabriel shock and for the money they are hard to beat.
