I'm hoping you guys might be able to help me out. After the whole rim fiasco I ended up with an extra Hypercoated FR500 DD rim. I'm planning on making some sort of a table out of it with a glass top. I'd like to make a stand for it so it sits higher than then the 10" width, but I don't want to weld on and damage the rim. I want to make a stand out of a rear axle and bolt the rim to it. Anyone know where I can find a used cheap axle or maybe just the hub part of it with studs? Thanks for the help.

Why not just hit the junk yard for some 6er axles. They are the same as ours and should run real cheap from what i hear.

Steal one out a car in a parkinglot...

In all honesty I am sure someone has something around... worst cast I woudl hit up a JY... the 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern is very common in the ford world.
