I just recently got through with an engine build up that consists of

Minor machine work
Trickflow Street heat kit:
TW aluminum heads
TF stage 1 cam w/1.7 rockers
TF upper and Lower
Headers

Now I am needing the following:

Injectors,MAF,Throttle-body

The problem is that I have no clue what size injectors,MAF,throttle body I need, what do you think would work good on this setup and what brand?

Thanks, Chris

the ideal injector for the HP comes out to be 26#...you can get away with 24#...30# won't hurt either and you can run with the stock fuel pressure of 38-40psi...UNDER 75mm TB will be more than enough...If you don't have a TB yet the 70mm will work...if you have a 65mm TB...that will work too...Just buy a good TB and not some cheap BBK/Eddelbrock one...its a hit or miss with those...IMO they suck...get an accufab or FMS...you get what you pay for...with the MAF...you can't overdo it...80mm is a nice piece...77mm is great...75mm will work...Pro-M is my choice...more preciese on modded cars...

Hey (88 GT 6 Oh) did you notice a big gain when adding the TB,injectors, and MAF, or did you already have them on there? Oh and what does your car run in the 1/4?

the motor was built as a whole with those parts, i was thinking about 30 lb injectors but decided on 24's.

for my car i am hopeing mid 12's, (car weights about 3200 with me with no wieght reduction, and car has no a/c, no power options and no smog pump), i had it dyno tuned but due to ignition problems i could only pull it to 4800 rpm :notnice: but even at 4800 rpm it made 261 RWHP on a MUSTANG dyno, the guy at the place i had it dyno'd said it should break 300 RWHP after i sort out my ignition. remember thats a mustang dyno so it shows lower than a dynojet

i would stick with a 70 mm tb unless you have bigger plans for it, in which case i would get the 75 mm to allow you to grow. 24 lb injectors are more than enough, i am running about 44 PSI fuel pressure and it has a near perfect air fuel. also this may be a good time to replacve the stock fuel pump if you havn't already cause it will only help
