Hey guys i am in a tough situation. We just got a 04 DSG GT. Now we have a 95 GT VERT only has 67,000 on it. Well the downfall is this car just does not feel as powerfull as the 04. I am wondering if i should sell the car, sell the motor and have a shortblock built up for it. B/c right now the 04 just walks this thing like crazy. It doesn't help that it's a Auto but i am not sure. I have been seeing my Exact Vert go for up to 11,800 we paid 7400 for it. I am wondering if i should sell it. I know the 302 you can get so much power for short and i would love to build it up but when you already have the power of the MOD motor it just is a itch to make it have more. What do you guys think.

It depends on how much you want to keep your 95. You can make that 95 faster than your 04 without a problem. How much $$ would you be willing to put into the 95?

The Auto is killing me. I hate it but the fiance needs it so when she has the little dogs in the car. And i know the 302 has more torque even with the Auto you can tell. I think is probably what i will do is start a build on a motor for that car then take the stock low miles 302 out and sell it to recoupe some of the cost. I am willing to put the money into it b/c you don't find many 95 Vert's in this nice of condition.

You just don't find a 95 DFG GT Vert in this nice of condition.

I love my cat too he'll just never see the inside of my car unless its thru cat carrier bars. Same with a dog, if I had one.

Well luckily the big dogs rod in the truck whenever we have to go somewhere. And the little dogs don't shed so if we have to take them somewhere like grooming or such we use the auto b/c there so happy to ride in a car you have to have a Auto. I know thats the main problem with this car is that i don't have a TQ Conv. Nor a gear i know if i did that, shift kit, and a trans cooler i would be a lot better off.
