I NEED HELP AND PARTS

HEY guys i just got a 1987 mustang and its my first car and its a 4 cyc auto and i need to know wat i can do to pump more power out of the 4 cyc without doing a engine swap if someone can help let me know at [email protected]

what kinda goal do you have ?

as most of these guys will tell you the stocker is almost 90hp the turbo 2.3 motor is about 200 hp...... very simple swap

well i just wanna get as much horsepower out of the 4 cyc with out a engine swap so i think the turbo is even a lil pricy for now until i get a job

well

only way to get much power out of the N/A 2.3 is some head milling and porting or gutting the intakes..... which would still be more expensive than the swap...

i found my motor for 200 bucks


basically anything you would do to a v8 you can do to a 4cyl car too..... mill work,rocker cam ,cold air intake , larger throttle body you name it....


i got a 210 hp 88tc motor for 200 bucks..... the headwork would prob cost about the same on your work and would maybe net ya an extra 10 hp putting you up to 100hp........

so make a goal for what ya want for your car !

yea i definitly wanna do that kinda stuff but i gott a wait until next summer to get a job to get the money to buy the parts and stuff i want i just started school again and i looked for a job all summer but couldnt find one but basically i did aanything i could to it with out no money but thanks for the help man
