Can you see any brake fluid leaks anywhere?

Does bleeding the brakes make it better for even a short time?

Can they stop the car at all?

Does the pedal go to the floor like there's nothing there?

How quickly does it lose fluid?


You're our eyes, ears, and nose. We need as much detail as possible.

If no loss of fluid, I bet it's the master cylinder. Mine went out recently. At first I had to pump them to get them to hold, then they wouldn't at all. They would provide just a tiny bit of resistance, but not enough to stop the car or my foot.I doubt that both calipers on a 91 are frozen.
