I need help getting the right speedo gear, ford says it can't be done
I switched from a 2.73 to a 4.10. The parts guy says the drive gear won't allow for a proper speedo gear to fix problem. I guess the drive gear is machined on. The motorsport catalog says the swap isn't practical because of that. Steeda makes one but it says an in-line reducer is recommended for 4.10's. What the heck is that??? They use the same speedo gear from 3.55's on up. Grrrr!!!
