I have to order new push rods and new lifters for my car. I have to spend $500 with summit to get 0% for a year. I figure the lifters and pushrods will run my about $200 so I have to spend at least 300 more. I am thinking either a steel or aluminum flywheel, or a mds 6al ignition. With my mods which do you think would benifit me the most.

You've already got a laundry list of stuff on your car man, lol. Maybe you could get a set of slicks if you don't already have some. I kinda like the Crane HI-6 Ignition and the LX92/1 coil (it's on my "to buy" list). This wouldn't be spending much but if you have the hood clearance you could get a phenolic spacer for your intake. Need some gauges? Have you relocated your battery to the rear?

I'll post back if I think of anything else!

oh i thought you were sending out checks. you could get me some gauges. i do not see a aluminum raditator or elctric fan in your sig. also i see alot of engine, but no springs or control arms. would probably be a big help.

That is a good one. I did not even think about that. I will definitly get one of those. I don't want to get slicks because I have yet to put subframe connectors on. I am going to order my suspesion from either maximum motorsports or saleen and both of those come with the connectors.

Hello! I would at this point in your build put it on the bottle.Maybe one of them new gadgits to give 0-60 and 1/4 mile times and speed.Maybe work on the sound system.I have a cyberdyne digital dash from there and love it.So so easy to install and it gives 0-60 and top speed. Its nice to play with and looks cool as hell.LOL Later Sub

what is the difference between the crane hi-6s ingnition and the hi 6 with the lx-92 coil. I am looking in summit magazine now and the hi6s specifies for use with a 86-95 mustang.

I don't think you will beniefit from a aftermarket ignition. The tfi system on fords is a strong ignition with just adding a crane ps-91 coil. Now if you opt for a high hp nitrous you would beniefit from it.Do you have drivability problems or fouled plugs? That is the only reason I see for needing it.

My drivability is fine.
If I were to do longtubes would I still be able to pull the transmission without removing the headers?
