well i got a nail in my front right tire, but I have 20k miles on them as it is and they need replacement. Right now I have the factory stock goodyear eagle 245 45 zr 17s. buying them new i'm lookin at about 220 bucks a pop. I looked on ebay and found some "used" sets, seemed to have good tread, almost new. Any ideas or other recommendations. I'd like to stick with the eagles if i can afford it...keepin the stock look lol

I know what ya mean about keepin the stock look, but the goodyears really dont last that long. i mean i replaced mine at 27k and they were balder than hell and I dont burn out much at all.

My stock Goodyears also lasted a very short time. (18k) and I did maybe 4 short burnouts in their whole lifetime. IMO, these tires are overpriced for what they are. $177 each (at least) and their dry/wet traction and longevity is a joke. I'd get a different brand if I were you.

I just ordered BF goodrich KDWs from tire rack today for my 04 gt. I'd say 9 outta 10 people praise the KDWs. I never hear any bad about them, and they are $50 cheaper than the crappy goodyears.

Sumitomo HTR ZII's cannot be beaten. Under $100 for factory size and even 275/40/17s..

I just got some General Tire Exclaim UHP's. They grip like CRAZY. From a roll in 2nd gear I can't break traction at WOT, and I have 400+ HP. They were $130 a piece. Check out their rating at www.tirerack.com

Too bad you're not looking to widen, I was going to recommend some real tires.

I've had really good luck with Avon Tech M500 and they're only 107$ at tirerack. The Nitto 555s I had and Kuhmos were terrible in comparisson.
