I'm 69 and a greaser from Detroit. performance Dyno operator and development mechanic. just got my 96 GT and feel alive again, look forward to lots of Mods and races.

Welcome !!! Sure you've got some knowledge that can help a lot of folk in here.

I'm sure your not the oldest here. There's a lot of gray hairs in this place. Lol

Welcome to stangnet brother.

Like the guys mentioned, your not the oldest, but your not the youngest either. You've been alive long enough to be of help to any of us here.

You've got a '96 GT. First year of the mod motors. There is so much you can do with the engine that it will amaze you!

You should go to our '96-'04 general talk subforum and snoop around some of the threads there. When you're ready to become part of the group, post a new thread with pictures of your mustang and plans you might have for it.

Post a couple pictures here just so i can see it. I hang out in the fox section and hardly ever get to the mod motor forum.

The guys that said hey before me, btw, one is an ASE certified master mechanic and has been for a long time, the other is a wizard with the computer systems in our mustangs, particularly the MS system. You'll find lots of REAL help here from people that have done it all.

Anyhow, good to have you with us.

Thanks i am so happy to have a GT. Saw your fender it looks great like the paint is still wet.

Thanks brother, either Monday or Tuesday I'll be painting the deck lid. Then the front bumper, etc..etc.....
