I need to purchase a new engine block

Thank you everyone for your quick responses to my other thread where I mentioned wanting to do a 2004 cobra swap on my 2001 GT due to my blown rod.

I have decided that it would be much easier to just buy a performance block from somewhere else. I have seen the MMR and the VT version of their short blocks with forged rods, etc. but I want to get an idea on the variety of options I have at this point.

I don't think that changing my block will add much horsepower (it's more of a durability issue). I would like to know if there is a place that sells a complete engine with upgraded cams and everything. It would be nice to put in a nice N/A motor that has a big bang. Does anyone have any info on a place that sells a kit with more than just the block? I am learning a lot through this process, so I'm still trying to understand the lingo. I am trying to keep costs in the $6000-7000 range. Thanks for your help!

P.S. I would also be up to new ideas such as upgrading to a 302 or 351 to make my mustang stand out from the rest. If you have info on these swaps, I'd like to hear as well.

We also sell complete longblocks too with ported heads and cams. That sounds like what you are looking for. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
