I need to replace my Shifter, Automatic v6

I need to replace my shifter the little piece of "quality ford engineering" plastic piece that houses my shifter broke some time back, the shifter still functions but im looking to have it replaced to fix that gaping hole now consuming my center console.
I cannot find an OEM replacement part online, or at kragan; the employee there said my best bet was aftermarket.

I also have been contacting junk yards and part outs to find a scrapped mustang to get the part from but no success their either.
does anyone out their have any other solution

How big/bad is the actual hole?

Can you take a picture of it and post it, so that we can see what you are working/dealing with?

The TCi shifter would be an awesome solution if the hole isn't outrageously large.
