I squeezed in 90 mph on 3rd gear and blew some part in my motor.... i know that was pretty dang stupid to do. I was wondering if most people do take it up dat high or is it just my stupidity.....

Often too, highway accelerating is fun.

what he said above, were you using nitrous? you were around ~5000-5500rpm, so what did you exactly blow?

they might consider that motor abuse... redline's at like 5600, what posessed you to go that high? you don't make more power up there, you're not driving a honduh.

if it's under warranty it shouldn't it be covered no matter what? I know they could give you hell if they can tell but it should still be replaced right?

6500 in 3rd sounds too high in the revs to me

why should it be covered under warranty? driving around at 70mph @ 6000rpms in 2nd and your engine blows, you think Ford should cover that?

Somethings not making since though? I didnt see anything about him posting he has gears. I have 3.73's and my speedo says I can hit 97 in 3rd and Im not even in redline yet. Im dang close, but I try to never touch the red . He was at 6500rpm in 3rd with stock gearing???? Somethings not adding up here or is it just me.

I didn't mean that they "should" replace it, I just thought it was a warranty no matter what you did to it. That's why all those people say "powershift, it's under warranty" right?
