Never touch the rev limiter on a stock GT engine, unless you either REALLY know what you're doing, or you're okay with the chance of blowing your engine.
I'm gonna have to agree....I've hit close to 90 in 3rd and I'm not even close to 6500.....something is either really wrong with your car or there is something missing from your story Were you powershifting or were the tires spinning or what? You keep saying it was something "stupid," but you fail to tell us the actual reason so we can help.
In addition, spelling is kinda key for us to be able to understand what you are trying to say. You wrote some pretty simple words and you managed to mispell a number of them. Spellcheck is nice for the bigger words (ones with more than 2 syllables and that you have to look up the definition). Get "Hooked on Phonics"...it may work for you.

I don't think your engine cares if you know what you are doing or not. Stay off the rev limiter.
To the original poster . . .
Your spelling makes you look stupid. The first thing people do when they read a post like yours is roll their eyes. Nobody wants to waste their time trying to help or educate a dumbass who can't evn tace tyme 2 spL rite. Enjoy that mustang while you have it, I'm willing to bet it won't last much longer.
