I need ur help

I have a 96 gt and lately when I hit the brakes it sounds like the chassis is flexing (OUCH) anybody know what could cause that? Had a friend say he thought it might be that some bushings on the suspension could need to be replaced. So any help would be great. THANX

Could be alot of things (no kidding, right?!) But I'd bet the shocks and struts have seen their better days...When you say the chassis is flexing, do you mean it is diving? Or are you hearing creaking or something similiar to this?
Take it to a brake shop and have them give you one of their free estimates...

It just sounds like a creaking into maybe a poping noise

mostly likely its your shocks and struts making that noise. does it make the noise if you push down on your trunk? if so shocks and struts need replacement.
