Hey guys, I need some advice! I have a 2003 V6 Mustang with CAI, MAC Dual Exhaust and ASP Underdrive pulleys. I am currently going to school full time and working to pay off my bills and car payment each month. My payment is $289 a month and I have had my car for a year...I am almost having to work full time right now to keep up and it is wearing on me big time! So...I am looking to sell my V6 and get a 5.0 for a hopefully cheaper payment. My car is in great condition and there are no blemishes on the exterior or interior...I have about 23K miles on it. Can you all tell me what would be a good asking price for it?? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks I have a cardomain site if you want to see a few pics of my car....http://members.cardomain.com/silversixpony

i'd say the max you'd get for it is $12,000 most people wouldn't pay that much, for it since it's a 6, has mods, and it's used. That's also selling it privatly, if you sold it to a dealer you'd look at 8,000 at the max. You can find a 2004 Mustang GT used for $14,000 these days, if you rather opt out to buy one of those instead of a 5.0. If you're really looking to do a lot of work to a 5.0 and put blowers and put it over 400+ hp you're going to crack that block. Modular 4.6L blocks are much stronger and can take more beef. Anyways, just my suggestion if you're looking for more power. Go with a 99 - 2004 GT. Good luck.

I paid almost 14K for my V6 a year ago and that was a good deal around here where I live. If I could have found a good GT I would have gotten it. I am just looking for a cheaper payment and I have always wanted a 5.0. Thanks for your help

I'd say you could pull 12 out of it. Thats a good low number for the miles and it's an 03 of course.

With 36k on my 01 I paid just over 8, not too bad. I would think you could get 11 or 12 with the stuff.

If you decide to take off those pulley's I'd be interested in them. Give me a Private message if you wanna sell em.
